Our Mission Statement​

Our mission statement was developed by all of the kita's educators. It expresses our fundamental attitude and provides a common direction for all decisions and actions.​​

Supporting Children in Their Uniqueness

We accept each child as they are. Be it a boy or girl, shy, brave, wild, anxious, or creative, with their individual abilities and their respective languages. Children are actively involved in shaping their daily routines. This includes agreeing on rules, structuring the daily routine, and involving children in activities and projects. We respect the individuality of each child and his or her decisions, as long as the interests of others are respected. Our goal is to best prepare children for the next stage of their lives: school, through independence and self-confidence.

A professional and diverse team

As a German-Chinese Kita, the children are always surrounded by these two languages. We are a place where children also get to experience Chinese language and culture. Our professionally competent and state-certified educators carry out their work based on the Berlin Education Program. We are a multinational and bilingual team that creates a warm atmosphere and a reliable foundation between children, colleagues, and parents. What we all have in common is that we are fun-loving and passionate educators.​

Our primary goal is to create a place for children where they spend a fulfilling and happy time. We provide children and parents with security. We treat children, parents and each other with tolerance, appreciation, support, honesty, and respect. We place great value on collaborative partnerships and are always aware of our role as role models. For the benefit of every child, we work professionally and trustingly with all parents on an equal footing and are always ready to listen to their concerns. We are not afraid of conflicts and differing opinions. We address disputes using non-violent communication methods. Our goal is to ensure satisfaction on all sides.
