Overview

Our kita welcomes everyone who is passionate about the Chinese language and culture and would like to maintain a connection with it.

The little ones from 1 to 3 years old attend the dragon group, which has space for a maximum of 12 children.

Children ages 3 to 6 attend the Tiger Group, which can accommodate up to 16 children.

Our children grow up in a loving and family-oriented environment. This is based on our educational concept, the parent initiative, and all the people who are committed to our children.

The kita is located on the ground floor of a renovated historic building in Prenzlauer Berg.
Both group rooms offer a variety of play areas and quiet spaces. Examples include a reading corner, a play kitchen, a building area, and a raised platform.

The Tiger Group room features a movement area with a swing and climbing wall. Each group room also includes a kitchen for meal preparation, a children’s bathroom, and a cloakroom.

In the backyard, there is a small garden with a sandbox.

The kita is located in the green and family-friendly Helmholtzkiez, just steps away from playgrounds, parks, and other activities for young children.

We go outside with the children almost every day to play and move around in the fresh air. For children under the age of three, we use a handcart to support them during these outings.

We are a parent-initiated kita.
Active involvement and close collaboration between parents and educators are essential for the smooth daily operation of our kita.

Healthy nutrition is very important to us.
We use only organic products. Our daily meal plan includes a morning fruit and vegetable snack, a wholesome organic lunch provided by a catering service, and an afternoon snack.

Our kita is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on public holidays.
We are closed for approximately 25 days a year.
